Wheat is the natural habitat of the Calandra, a bird from the lark family so commonly seen in our region, which is well-known not only for its wheat, but also for being the only place where our very own Bombino Bianco is produced

Soil characteristics: chalky tufa-rich, medium texture
Harvesting period: mid-September
White wine vinification process, soft vacuum pressing, temperature controlled fermentation process at 15° C with short ageing in oak casks, aged for 6 months in steel followed by 3 months in the bottle.
Alcohol content: 12% Vol.
Appearance: Straw-yellow, with faint green reflections.
Aroma: floral, fresh, fruity notes, vanilla and spices at the finish.
Taste: good balance of freshness and softness, intense with a long, elegant finish.
Recommended with: seasonal vegetables, light first courses and white meat or fish-based second courses.
